Ricky “DJCrue” Dunn – Program Director

Hello my name is Rickey Dunn also known as Dj Crue and I’m the Program Director for WolfRockRadio.com.

I’m also the Program Director for both NorthcoastUnderground.com which is a Rock Station featuring all Independent and unsigned artists and AllSportsClealand.com which is the flagship station of Lake County Captains baseball. So my background goes a little like this, I fell in love with music at a young age, probably seven or eight; artists like Michael Jackson, Tears for Fears, Quiet Riot, of course anybody knows me knows I am a huge Motley Crue fan or Cruehead as they call us. In the 80s it was all about Hair Meatal and man was I sold. From there I fell in love with Radio WMMS, Power 108, 92Q and more. My love for music lead me to becoming a DJ for a company called Excel Entertainment were I learned from one of the best club Djs in Cleveland. I worked with for Excel for 13 years and in that time, I earned my DJ name which would be none other than Dj Crue. While I was working for Excel Entertainment, I wanted to learn more about Radio so I enrolled at The Ohio Center of Broadcasting and graduated from there in 2009. While I was in school at OCB I had many internships one was on the schools rock station, but the best internship was on my favorite radio show on WMMS; The Maxwell Show. There I learned how to create, plan, and execute radio shows that were fun and engaging. I graduated From OCB in October of 2009 and had over 2100 intern hours. From there they hired me on at Ohio Center for Broadcasting which is now known as The Ohio Media School for the last ten years as an Instructors Assistant and worked my way up the ladder to where I am now which is an Instructor and Program Director of Northcoastunderground.com and Allsportsclealand.com which I referred to earlier. Just think this all started for me just for the love of two things music and radio and now being part of Wolfrockradio.com, I can’t wait to see were that leads me in the future.
